Timely on iOS and Android
Time Tracking: Classic Handbook How Timely's mobile apps fit into your time tracking workflow today.Timely’s iOS and Android apps are still available for some users, depending on your device and OS version. That said, they’re not actively being developed or updated at the moment.
Our current focus is on the Timely web app, along with the Memory apps for Mac and Windows, and the AI-powered AutoSheet experience built around those. Folks can still use the Timely web app on both desktop and mobile browsers for most functionality.
This article is a quick rundown of where the mobile apps fits in today.
What still works on mobile
You can keep using the apps for the everyday essentials:
- Logging and editing time entries against your projects and tasks
- Browsing your projects, clients and tags
- Reviewing personal reports of the hours you’ve tracked
- Capturing GPS locations to help fill in your day
- Receiving push reminders so you don’t forget to log time
Both apps continue to sync with the same workspace as the web and desktop experiences, so anything you log on your phone shows up everywhere else.

Where we’re focused now
The richest Timely experience lives on the web and desktop. If you haven’t already, these are great places to spend your time:
- Memory for Mac and Memory for Windows — automatic capture of the work you do on your computer, the foundation of accurate AI timesheets.
- Migrate from Classic to AutoSheet — see how AutoSheet writes timesheets for you using your Memory data.
Support and what to expect
If your team relies heavily on tracking time away from a computer, we’d genuinely love to hear from you — that feedback helps shape where Timely goes next.
