Smarter duplicate client names — When you create a client with a name that already exists, Timely now suggests an available alternative and pre-fills it for you. Clients imported from tools like Jira, ClickUp, Asana, and monday.com with matching names are no longer skipped — they’re imported with a unique name instead.
Member-first project picker — The project picker now shows your own projects by default, with a “Show all projects” toggle when you need the full workspace list.
Smoother bulk client imports — Large client imports from Jira no longer slow down your browser while related projects are set up in the background.

Faster, more reliable task linking — Linking related tasks is now quicker and more consistent, even in large workspaces, and every task — including nested subtasks — is reachable.
Archived clients stay archived — If you archive a client in Timely, it now stays archived, even if a connected integration still shows it as active.

Todoist integration restored — Connecting Todoist and importing completed tasks works again.
Deleted tags no longer block time logging — Removing a tag no longer prevents time logging on a project.
Default tag enforcement corrected — Default tags are now enforced correctly and consistently across projects.
Client projects now load correctly — Selecting a linked task tied to a client now correctly shows that client’s active projects.
Faster Jira client imports — Importing clients from a Jira custom field is now faster and more reliable for large imports.
Timeline view fixed on Safari — The timeline view now displays correctly for Safari users.
Linked task view no longer disappears — Clearing all filters in the linked task view no longer causes it to vanish.
Linked tasks open faster — Opening an entry with an existing linked task now loads it directly, without delay.
