A while back, we renamed our company from Timely to Memory. The idea was to build a broader product family under the Memory name, with Timely as one part of it.
It didn’t take long to realize that was the wrong move. Our customers know us as Timely. The problem we solve — making time tracking effortless — is what people come to us for. Spreading our focus across a bigger vision meant taking it away from the thing that actually matters.
So we’re going back to our original name. The company is now officially Timely AS.
Memory itself isn’t going anywhere — it remains a core feature inside Timely that automatically captures what you work on throughout the day. It’s just not the company name anymore.
This doesn’t change anything about your account, your data, or how the product works. It’s simply us being honest about who we are and what we’re here to do: build the best time tracker out there.
